Position Title: Intramural Sports Assistant

Job Description: Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and enhancing the experience of Red Rocks Intramural Sports participants. In addition to officiating intramural sports, the position requires assisting with activity set-up and take-down, rules knowledge, game & event management, effective communication, scorekeeping, a desire to improve, and other duties as assigned. Creating a safe, positive experience for intramural participants is the paramount duty of this position. Training is provided, but a basic knowledge of the sports the applicant intends to work is strongly recommended.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, clients and guests;
- Ability to remain patient and calm in all situations and handle and resolve conflict in a timely and orderly manner.
- Must be certified in CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED and Standard First Aid or be willing to obtain the certification within 30 days of hire
- Previous knowledge and background sports is preferred but not required.
You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

Job Payment Information:
Wage: $11.10 - 10.50/hour
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
