Position Title: Lab assistant II

Position Type: Work-Study

Job Description: The Lab assistant II assists with all needs in the Electrical Department, including:

  • Making lab copies
  • Assisting adjunct instructors
  • Building labs
  • Tear down and clean up labs
  • Sort material
  • Help students in labs
  • Light office duties


Job Requirements: Candidate should be comfortable working with people. Work late afternoons and evenings, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. We are looking for someone who is reliable, on time, well organized, and eager to learn. Candidates can work up to 20 hours per week.

You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

Skills you will gain/enhance: This position provides the unique opportunity for a student to gain experience in the Electrical field.  Student will work closely with faculty and will learn about the electrical industry.

Job Payment Information:

Wage: Level II - $11.50
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
