Department: Water Quality Management Technology

Position Title: Clerical Assistant

Position Type: (Work-Study)

Job Description: Student will be responsible for making copies and printing documents for the Program Director and Adjunct Instructors, checking Department email, returning phone calls, scheduling meetings, converting existing paper files to electronic documents, greeting students, assembling notebooks, and other clerical duties.

Job Requirements: Attention to detail, computer skills (Word, Excel, the Rock), ability to adhere to a set schedule and work independently if needed. You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

Skills you will gain/enhance: Students will learn about the Water Quality Management program and the water industry in general.  They will also improve transferable skills such as computer, organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Student will work closely with Program Director as well as adjunct instructors who work in the water industry.  Reference letter available upon completion of work. 

Job Payment Information:

Wage: $10.20/hr
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
