Position Title: Lab Assistant
Position Type: Work-Study
This position will assist the Electrical Department, instructors, and students with Labs, classroom setup, photocopying, filing, and computer entry. Will also help to keep classrooms clean and safe. Student will be responsible for making copies and printing documents for the Adjunct Instructors, checking Department daily lists of projects, working with students on projects, working on labs, and other clerical duties.
A basic knowledge of computer entry, work safety, and hand tools needed. Applicant should also have some general work skills and the ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings and a possible Saturday if needed.
You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

This position provides the unique opportunity for a student to gain experience in the Electrical field. Lab Assistant position provides many opportunities for personal and professional growth in areas such as: customer service, communication, Power Point, Excel experience and word. Student will work closely with Electrical Department Head as well as adjunct instructors who work in the department.
Job Payment Information:
Wage: Level II
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
