Position Title: Instructional Technology Work-Study

Job Description: This position is an excellent opportunity to gain work experience for your resume! The eLearning/Instructional Technology office is a fast paced work environment that collaborates with faculty, staff and students on a variety of technologies and customer service requests. Some duties may include, but are not limited to:  (1) Answering phones (2) Troubleshooting D2L (Desire2Learn) course problems (3) Providing technical support to Red Rocks faculty/staff/students on D2L (4) Assist with transcribing, (5) Assist with student D2L Essentials sessions and (6) Captioning media files for ADA compliance (7) Provide Virtual Reality for classroom instruction.

Job Requirements: Must have knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.  Microsoft Access is a plus.  Applicant must also have good customer service skills and the ability to connect easily with the public. Attention to detail is important as they will be working on administrative work.

You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

Job Payment Information:

Wage: $10.20 per hour
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
