Red Rocks Community College is seeking a part time Medical Assisting instructor.

RRCC has two campuses: our main campus in Lakewood, Colorado and our newly expanded campus in Arvada, Colorado. Teach daytime/afternoon Medical Assisting courses. Courses may include:  MOT 136-Beginning skills, MAP 140-Clinical skills. These courses require an instructor who teaches in scenario base situations and with hands-on learning of skills including injections.

Minimum Qualifications:

Medical Assistant or Nurse with an Associates’ degree or higher and at least 4000 non-teaching hours of clinical, or outpatient experience in healthcare within the last 5 years AND has, or qualifies for, postsecondary CTE credential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidate with a current active Medical Assisting certification such as CMA or RMA.

Payment is based on the credit hour/contact hour and class ratio as assigned to you by the department chair. RRCC starts at $810.82/credit hour.
