Clerical Assistant II

Work-Study Fall 2017

Job Description:  Job duties for this position involve customer service and general clerical duties to include, but not limited to the following:

Customer Service: Customer service includes meeting and greeting students, staff, faculty, vendors, and answering basic questions and offering appropriate information to customers.

Data Entry: Enter information into Access Database for insurance certificates, contracts and additional information as assigned.

Scanning: Scanning of PCard statements, signature authorization forms and other misc. scanning as needed.

Filing: Purchase orders, insurance certificates, PCard statements, etc.

Procurement Card: Log in bank statements and file in individual files set-up per card holder. Communicate with card holders for missing statements, documentation or clarification of purchases.

Miscellaneous Projects: Various projects may include word processing, organizing files, and other duties as assigned. May assist other departments within Business Services such as Grants and Accounts Payable.


Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, have good work ethics, good communication skills and adhere to rules of confidentiality. Prior computer skills in Outlook, and basic MS Office Suite would be beneficial. Currently there is flexibility in establishing working hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for Fall 2017 semester and already be awarded work-study through Red Rocks Community College to apply for this position. A background check will be completed and expected clean results.


Job Payment Information:

Wage: $9.50 per hour
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
