RRCC Student Employment Position Announcement

Department: Theatre Arts and Dance

Position Title: Costume Shop Assistant

Position Type: Work-Study

Job Description: The Costume Shop Assistant assists with all costume needs in the Theatre Arts and Dance Department, including:

  • Assisting the Costume Designer with costume construction for productions
  • Assisting with costume rentals including customer service
  • Assisting with costume shop upkeep
  • Attending production meetings
  • Attending staff meetings

Job Requirements: Candidates should have experience with sewing. We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, efficient, and eager to learn. Candidates should be available to work up to 20 hours per week.

You must be eligible for student employment (enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours for the semester in which you will be working) to apply for this position.

Skills you will gain/enhance: This position provides the unique opportunity for a student to gain experience in costuming for theatre.

Job Payment Information:

Wage: $9.30 per hour
Paid: Bi-weekly (Fridays)
